Frequently Asked Questions

Will you photograph everyone?

This is a difficult one to promise. For a small wedding of 50 people I attempt to get shots of nearly everyone. However I am trying to capture the spirit of the day and the special moments, rather than a simple record of the people present. Therefore it is important that if there any people who simply must be photographed you either make sure that you request a formal shot with them in or assign an usher to point them out for special attention.

What is your standard group photography?

There is no standard list. The best thing is for the bride and groom to prepare the list and then I will suggest if I think the list is too long for the time we have available. I also like to take time out to photograph the bride and groom. This is usually done at the beginning of the reception. The aim is to balance your requirements to get some memorable portrait photographs and for you not to be away from your guests for too long. Therefore I always work within your timescales and not mine.
